    We Are Hiring Ascension Living Sacred Heart Village, is looking for caring and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants to join the team! This gorgeous 133 bed continuing care retirement community offers independent living, assisted living, long-term skilled nursing, rehabilitation and therapy.

What You Will Do

As a CNA Trainee, you will assist with basic, non-medical resident care activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with treatments ordered by physician and supervised by a Registered Nurse (RN).

  • Supports patients with tending to personal care and activities of daily living.

  • Reports findings or changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff.

  • Keeps patent rooms clean and orderly.

    Duties

  • Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), performs basic patient care activities to patients as a trainee.

  • Uses tactful, appropriate communications in sensitive and emotional situations

  • Assist patients with tending to personal care, activities of daily living, and transfers/transport

  • Answers resident requests promptly and reports to nurse any concerns, such as maintenance issues or incidents or any needs beyond your abilities

  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor/administration

What You Will Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider preferred.

Education:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
