Hill-Rom Facilities Engineer Team Leader in Batesville, Indiana



The Facilities Team Leader position is responsible to lead and execute facilities projects. These include maintenance (both preventive & repair), facility upgrades, productivity improvements, environmental issues, and safety projects.

This position does have supervisory responsibilities and requires the ability to interact and direct the activities of the maintenance staff. It's critical that the individual in this role foster a team atmosphere. The person accepting this position must have the ability to interact with multiple departments to both support and develop the needs required for the business. This candidate must be able to perform root cause analysis and have the ability to execute effective solutions.

This job requires excellent time management skills. The employee must be self-motivated, and responsive to the needs required to support production. This position also requires someone who is willing to continually keep up with changing codes and regulations required for safety, electrical, and environmental standards.


  • Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or Engineering degree with 4 years of electrical experience

  • Fluent in PLC programming and trouble shooting

  • Experience in an industrial maintenance atmosphere

  • Knowledge of National fire codes, National Electrical codes, and safety systems

  • HVAC experience

  • CAD experience

  • Project management experience

  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and Project

  • Experience with Maximo a plus

  • Industrial engineering experience a plus
