Sr Process Engineering Technologist Drug product primary

Position Hours 6:00am - 6:30pm Saturday Sunday and Monday

Catalent is seeking a Sr Process Engineering Technologist to join our growing Drug Product Engineering team in Bloomington, Indiana.

As a Sr Process Engineering Technologist, you will support and partner with engineers and technicians to support the process of packaging and inspection operations

This key role is part of a high performing engineering team who play an active role in making our plants perform optimally.

Catalent’s Bloomington location provides drug substance manufacturing, drug product manufacturing, and related pharmaceutical services. The Role

  • Monitor and troubleshoot the vial line in all aspects.

  • Provide internal/external audit support

  • Support fill curves, fit testing and support starts up on the line.

  • Develop, execute, and revise preventative maintenance checklists as needed.

  • Assist in coordination of equipment/system installations.

  • Lead the monitoring trend, and troubleshooting of routine and novel equipment and operational problems

  • Perform or support periodic equipment reviews, including access audit trail reviews.

  • Develop, execute, and manage test cases for pre-approved changes and Installation/Operational Qualifications (IQ/OQ) of various systems/equipment.

  • Support the CMMS and change management workflow.

  • Author and own deviations, including investigations and root cause analysis, and CAPA’s related to control system performance and maintenance

  • Assist engineers in responding to audits

  • Responsible for implementing continuous improvements of equipment maintenance documents for planning and execution purposes

  • Demonstrated Problem Solving Skills

The Candidate

  • High School/GED

  • Technical Certificate or higher preferred

  • 2-5 years of experience dealing with vision systems, product labeling, serialization and/or thermoforming

  • Must be available to work 6:00am - 6:30pm Saturday Sunday and Monday
