Category Accounting/Finance/PricingOverviewThe Accounts Receivable Team Lead provides leadership and daily oversight to the North America Accounts Receivable Shared Service team. This role oversees tasks performed by staff to ensure a high level of accuracy and customer service both internally and externally. The role also has a strong focus on improving efficiencies, improving the customer experience, and achieving department goals and targets.ResponsibilitiesPrioritize and balance team workload, ensuring the team is responding to customer inquiries in a timely, friendly and empathetic manner and achieving targeted Service Level Agreements (SLA)Manage multiple people, tasks, and priorities through strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skillsPersonnel development through training, delegation and mentorshipPerform team member reviews, approve time sheet, and execute disciplinary action in accordance with HR policy if neededAssign clear ownership of AR duties and help cross-train team members to ensure continuation of coverage when employees take vacation or are sickWith input from internal teams, implement new processes and procedures to minimize credit risk and maximize collection effortsWork closely with AR leadership to drive standardization and automationAlign individual and team goals/objectives and ensure alignment with AR global and regional goalsPartner with sales and customer service to escalate issues and resolve in a timely mannerEnsure the complete, accurate and timely processing of all transactionsStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively across the organization at all levelsDemonstrated ability to delegate and prioritize responsibilitiesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAnalytical with high attention to detailExecute and drive special projects as needed to improve effectiveness and efficienciesQualificationsBachelor's degree, or equivalent, in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or AccountingAt least 2 years of management experience leading a team, team-building, and employee development required4 years of accounting / finance experience, experience in credit and collections requiredProficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)Physical Requirements:Works under general office environmental conditionsSitting for extended periodsUtilizes close visual acuity for working with computers and equipmentOptionsApply for this job online ApplyShareShare the job posting with a friend ReferSorry the Share function is not working properly at this moment.
