Byrider Digital Marketing Specialist in Carmel, Indiana

Job Descriptions:

Due to company growth, Byrider is currently looking to add a SEO Specialist.

SEO Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Stay up to date with the latest SEO/SEM and digital marketing latest trends and best practices

  • Develop a plan for driving and optimizing organic, local, and paid search, while being able to execute on that plan, with the assistance from supervisor

  • Working knowledge or understanding of Paid Search (SEM) and how it relates to overall search marketing and Organic Search (SEO)

  • Create a platform and/or program for assisting the dealerships to manage their "Google My Business" Accounts, to help optimize organic and local searches

  • Assist dealerships with review and reputation management

  • Manage and measure Google search, organic, locally and paid, on a daily basis while being the subject matter expert for the Marketing Team and the Dealership Team.

  • Work with agencies and/or utilize internal resources to create content for the Company website or other digital platform for the benefit of organic searches, consumer experience, and conversion

    Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Manage vendor(s) or agency in search initiatives related to reviews, content, local listings, and/or google searches

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage local listings vendor and reviews/reputation management vendors

  • Identify problems and deficiency and implement solutions in a timely manner

  • Collaborate with marketing team

  • Ability to work with IT or a technical resource/agency to direct them on implementing SEO/SEM improvements

  • Monitor redirects, click rate, bounce rate, and other KPI’s

  • Work towards organic search optimization and ROI maximization

  • Use search/SEO and SEM Management tools (MOZ & Ahrefs) to research and monitor for keywords, on-page SEO/SEM, site enhancements or other improvements

  • Monitor Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster for performance

  • Monitor Google My Business’ performance and implications for website organic traffic

  • Implement and measure site enhancements and search improvements

  • Research and monitor related websites and competitive websites for SEO/SEM improvements

  • Ability to audit and fix content to ensure all materials are optimized for SEO/SEM

  • Review and optimize tags and metadata for the website, blogs, etc

  • Provide an on-page SEO/SEM recommendation and revise as needed

  • Create content marketing strategy for the website to help optimize organic search

  • Utilize Google Analytics and basic spreadsheet software, such as Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel, to provide analysis and reporting

  • Create organic search dashboard for monitoring performance

  • Prepare weekly and monthly slide deck for Marketing meetings

Required Skills & Abilities:

  • Ability to utilize Google Suite Products

  • Demonstrated success in utilizing and operating software platform to manage digital marketing as it relates to SEO/SEM, content and consumer experience

  • Ability to communicate well orally and written

  • Ability to work well with others as well as independently

  • Ability to create, understand, and analyze various reporting measures as it relates to SEO/SEM

  • Ability to build and maintain relationships quickly, especially with agencies

  • Ability to be a self-starter

  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; Marketing preferred

  • Certification in Digital Marketing or Digital Tools/Platforms is desired

Experience Required:

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in Digital Marketing with a focus in organic search (SEO/SEM) and/or Content Marketing

  • Experience working with multi-unit or retail, consumer-facing business models

  • Experience operating and/or using software platforms for local listings, reviews management, content management and/or consumer experience is preferred

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit for long periods of time

Travel Requirements

  • Position is may be required to travel up to 25% of the time

Position is currently a flex schedule between the home office in Carmel with the ability to work remotely from home
