ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION: Columbus Regional Health (CRH) is a regional health system serving a 10-county region in southeastern Indiana. Columbus Regional Hospital, the system’s flagship facility, is a 225-bed, not-for-profit hospital providing emergency and surgical services and comprehensive care in numerous specialty areas. The health system has over 2,100 employees, 225 physicians on medical staff, and 250 volunteers. Columbus Regional Health Physicians offers a network of primary and specialty care physicians, with a projected 150 providers in 2018. ABOUT THE POSITION: Responsible for the development and support of physician and advanced practice clinician provider compensation strategies and plans designed to incentivize performance and align with System and medical group goals. Responsible for the design, development, and implementation of decision support systems that provide critical analysis and reporting to support strategic decisions and operation improvement. Serve as an internal expert and resource available to medical group leadership and System management for issues and needs relating to physician/provider compensation matters. QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field required. MBA or MHA preferred.
REQUIRED FUNCTIONAL EXPERIENCE: Typically requires 10 years of experience in administration of productivity-based physician/provider compensation plans with extensive knowledge of professional billing, experience in data analysis and report development, and experience with database structures within an ambulatory environment. Experience could also be with a large healthcare system or consulting firm.
