Full Time, Evenings, 36 ABOUT THE POSITION: *Full time; 36 hours/week; evening shift; Weekend/holiday rotation *ABOUT THE UNIT: State of the art new facility designed with the voice of the customer and Lean and Six Sigma methodology to improve the patient experience and workforce flow. 28 acute care rooms and 5 Rapid Medical Assessment rooms. Team approach; 100% of physicians Board Certified in Emergency Medicine; High energy with quality metrics 100% of PCI < 90 minutes; average time for PCI 40 minutes; Chest Pain and CHF Accreditation; Average LOS 2.45 hours; 17% of patients admitted The Professional Nurse I (RN) is accountable and responsible for the provision and coordination of competent, evidence-based care, which includes assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The clinical nurse participates in decision making, teaching, mentoring, and collaboration with the multidisciplinary team to advance the patient plan of care, achieve outcomes and enhance operational efficiency. The nurse adheres to the ANA Scope of Standards of Professional Nursing and the Code of Ethics for Nurses with Interpretive Statements.
