Job Title: Quality EngineerJob #: 072018-010Location: NSWC - CD Crane, INSecurity Requirement: Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security clearance; active Secret desirable.Description:SPR seeks qualified professionals to provide professional support services in the areas of sustainment, engineering, test and evaluation, logistics, and ancillary facilities in direct support of Polymers and Undersea Sensors Branch (code: GXPS) at Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division (NSWC-CD).The Quality Engineer develops, evaluates and improves branch level and project level processes to reduce cost, develop best practices, ensure safety and ensure project and command level requirements are being met. Collects data and conducts analyses and resulting reports and or plans that provide innovative solutions to improve process capability while maintaining and improving quality standards. Provides input for engineering and incident investigations. Collaborates with engineers, logisticians, technicians and management to develop and coordinate corrective actions. Supports the NSWC Crane ISO 9001 Management System.This position is contingent on a contract award with anticipated start date February 2019.Skills: Fully versant in ISO 9001 processes and proceduresExperience: Minimum 5 years of experience logistics support and quality assurance in a production environment.Education: Bachelors degree in Engineering, physics or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.SPR is an equal opportunity employer.
