Job Description

CACI is seeking a Technical Analyst/Writer I to support our government program located in Crane, IN.

What You’ll Get to Do:

• Assist in collecting and organizing information for preparation of user manuals, training materials, installation guides, proposals, and reports.

• Edit functional descriptions, system specifications, user manuals, special reports, or any other customer deliverables and documents

More About the Role:

• Support the effort to create the deliverables establishing timelines and coordinating inputs for the documents.

• Work with technical staff to develop artwork and graphics to support report and briefing preparations.

• Ensure that all deliverables comply with the style, format and content required by appropriate MIL standards

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

• HS Diploma and 0-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area

• Experience with DoD 5000.2-M, Defense Acquisition Management Documentation and Reports

• Experience with Secretary of the Navy Instruction (SECNAVINST) 5000.2A, Implementation of Defense Acquisition Policies, Documentation and Reports

• Experience with MIL-STD- 31000, Technical Data Packages

• Fluent in document preparation suites such as Microsoft Office and Adobe Photoshop

• Familiar with SolidEdge drawing package

• Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET Clearance.

• Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.

• Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment.

• Works under general supervision; typically reports to a supervisor or manager

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

• Active Secret

• BA/BS degree in communications, engineering, computer science or web design

• Society for Technical Communicators certifications
