Job Description
CACI is seeking a Technical Analyst/Writer I to support our government program located in Crane, IN.
What You’ll Get to Do:
Assist in collecting and organizing information for preparation of user manuals, training materials, installation guides, proposals, and reports.
Edit functional descriptions, system specifications, user manuals, special reports, or any other customer deliverables and documents
More About the Role:
Support the effort to create the deliverables establishing timelines and coordinating inputs for the documents.
Work with technical staff to develop artwork and graphics to support report and briefing preparations.
Ensure that all deliverables comply with the style, format and content required by appropriate MIL standards
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
HS Diploma and 0-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area
Experience with DoD 5000.2-M, Defense Acquisition Management Documentation and Reports
Experience with Secretary of the Navy Instruction (SECNAVINST) 5000.2A, Implementation of Defense Acquisition Policies, Documentation and Reports
Experience with MIL-STD- 31000, Technical Data Packages
Fluent in document preparation suites such as Microsoft Office and Adobe Photoshop
Familiar with SolidEdge drawing package
Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET Clearance.
Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment.
Works under general supervision; typically reports to a supervisor or manager
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Active Secret
BA/BS degree in communications, engineering, computer science or web design
Society for Technical Communicators certifications
