Robert Half International Office Manager/Full Charge Bookkeeper in DANVILLE, Indiana

Description

We have an opportunity for an Office Manager/Full Charge Bookkeeper with an immediate start date to direct bank reconciliations, journal entries, month-end close, cash flow, financial statement preparation, audit, clerical staff, full cycle A/P, and payroll. Major responsibilities

  • Report on business license and gross receipts

  • Note budget transfers

  • Conduct monthly accounting close

  • Classify sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments

  • Produce monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents

  • Arrange cash flow projections, as needed

  • Extra unique tasks if required

  • Update Accounts Payable

  • Experience with Accounts Receivable

  • Execute cash account journal entries including loans, taxes, bank fees, 401(k) deductions, etc.

  • Skilled in credit card management and reconciliation

Requirements

  • Notable accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred

  • QuickBooks experience

  • Microsoft Office experience

  • Self-starter with efficient time management and organizational skills

  • 5+ years of related experience- Dedication and requisite skills to meet critical business deadlines

  • BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business-related field preferred

  • Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment

  • Possess strong organizational and follow-up skills

  • Proven analytical skills with ability to implement solutions and vendor management experience with good organizational skills

  • Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement

  • Ability to effectively interact, verbally and in writing
