Position Summary

The Talent Acquisition Manager will manage the full life cycle recruiting process at Berry Global, including fostering strong relationships with the hiring managers and HR staff, and implementing strategies to attract the best talent. A wide degree of creativity, short and long term recruiting vision, business acumen, leadership experience, networking, personal organization and strategies for sourcing in niche markets is required. The Talent Acquisition Manager position supports Corporate Staff and Divisional recruitment. This role is also responsible for the enterprise internship program.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leads the overall recruitment process, which includes establishing proactive plans to fill position requirements and enhancing Berry’s employer brand in key and niche recruiting markets.

  • Fills key roles within the enterprise though sourcing, selecting and screening qualified candidates.

  • Acts as a Corporate Recruiter responsible for posting, sourcing, interviewing, travel, and managing the complete offer process for several key positions.

  • Utilizes recruiting tools and resources (including but not limited to job boards, social media, company career site, networking, applicant tracking system, etc.) as part of a full life cycle strategy.

  • Forges strong relationships with leadership teams to achieve business hiring results.

  • Manages the applicant tracking system to ensure efficiency and data integrity.

  • Tracks recruiting metrics/spend and provides quarterly/annual reports to senior management.

  • Ensures enterprise recruiting processes, interviews and documentation are in compliance with legal requirements and Affirmative Action.

  • Assist in managing vendor relationships ensuring contract adherence to corporate policy; responsible for contract negotiations.

  • Conducts ATS, recruiting and interview training virtually for new field HRMs on a quarterly basis

  • Serves as Administrator for the applicant tracking system and AAP reporting.

  • Leads the college recruiting program, including attending career fairs and building strategic partnerships with diverse colleges and universities.

  • Conducts orientation for Evansville corporate office.

  • Participates in strategic initiatives such as employment branding and diversity initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or Business preferred with minimum of five (5) years professional staffing

  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and government compliance regulations that affect recruitment practices

  • Familiarity with corporate level recruiting (including leadership, technical, & sales positions)

  • Exemplary interpersonal and relationship building skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to manage several hiring projects simultaneously, set priorities, and achieve deadlines

  • Proven ability to proactively work with hiring managers to drive recruitment process

  • Experience utilizing job boards, sourcing mechanisms, and social recruiting platforms

  • Previous ATS experience a plus

  • Ability to travel 15-20% to conduct job fairs and campus recruiting
