Aerotek Production Team Member in Evansville, Indiana


Primary Purpose: Manufacture basic / routine armature coils, rotor coils, stator coils, equalizer coils, commutating coils, main fields, and equalizer packs. Test complete parts.

Performs under direction:

  • Use stripping machine to strip insulation off of magnet wire.

  • Use the looping machines for armature, stator, or equalizer coils to put coils in loop form in preparation for the spreading, forming, or insulation process.

  • Set up and manufacture components on the lead bending table including but not limited to armature coils, rotor coils, and equalizer coils. Contractor will be hammering the coil into shape using coil jig setter (main function of the job)

  • Wrap coils using various processes and machines including but not limited to manual wrapping, hand wrapping, automatic wrapping, and cell wrapping.

*Candidates for the position will receive the necessary training to perform the job, prior experience or skill sets not required.
