As a Post Closer you are responsible for tracking and boarding all closed loan files including construction, modifications, home equity loans, and first mortgages.
Daily responsibilities consist of:
Tracking the closed loan pipeline from closing to file room
Boarding loans onto the servicing system
Setting up addenda’s for taxes and insurance
Tracking the input of government data into the mortgage system on closed, denied, or withdrawn loans
Posting funds received from the closing table and setting up ACH for individual loans
Registering mortgages with services such as MERS, tax service, and mortgage insurance
Updating and verifying government data for HMDA reporting
Assisting with file room and loan storage documentation and scanning documents
Coping homeowners insurance and PMI certificates, original NOTES, Mortgages/Second Mortgages, LPOAs, and Name Affidavits
Submitting Insurance certifications
Placing mortgage documents in review order
Submitting loans to Investors for Audit
Completing monthly Post Closing Audits

What we are looking for:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
One to Three Years of Similar or Related Experience
