Park Center, Inc. Kitchen Coordinator in Fort Wayne, Indiana
JOB SUMMARY:Work closely with General Manager to oversee the day-to-day operation of Park Centers Apple Spice Junctions food service delivery process.MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:Coordinate food preparation and delivery when General Manager is not present:Purchase all food and beverages when required.Manage inventory levels.Control scheduling and labor.Train and motivate staff.Support the Marketing Coordinator as needed.Complete required paperwork associated with the restaurant when required.Work with General Manager to hire all kitchen staff.Manage cleanliness and safety levels of the restaurantControl food, labor and miscellaneous spending.Manage all other costs associated with the restaurant.Maintain an appropriate relationship with suppliers.Prepare and deliver required food orders. Work any hours or jobs as deemed necessary to ensure effective and efficient operation of the restaurant.Must be able to take phone orders and operate the POS when needed.Track inventory for shopping and ordering.Accurately weigh and portion food.Make all food items listed on the commissary report in a timely manner.Work with speed and sense of urgency.MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:High school graduate or equivalent with at least two years related experience. Associate degree in Restaurant Management preferred. Valid drivers license.
