Foil Die International Die Technician in Huntington, Indiana

The Die Shop/Technician Apprentice will contribute to the manufacture of aluminum foil container dies. This position will require basic foundational understanding of machining techniques, engineering, polishing and stoning, and an understanding of the composition of aluminum foil dies. The apprentice will be trained in all of these skills from the ground up, however a motivated, reliable, and interested individual is required.Position Responsibilities: Die Assembly, maintenance and repair Die preventative maintenance and cleanings Polishing and stoning various die components Occasional die construction consulting Occasional machining of die components Meet production due dates through a set scheduleDesired Characteristics: Motivated Reliable Hard-Working Manufacturing interest Pro-activeBenefit Package: Base Wages $15.00-28.00/hr. based on experience, based on a 40-hour work weekHealth Insurance: 100% employee coverage, 50% dependent coverage (vision and dental are employee-paid options)Retirement Plan: Simple IRA, 3% company matchVacation: 1 week after 1 year, 2 weeks after 2 yearsQualifications: 2 years of experience in a job shop or tool room environment.
