Doxim Assist Production Supervisor (Afternoon Shift) in Indianapolis, Indiana

Position Summary: Primary responsibility will be assisting in providing direction and overseeing day to day operation of the production floor, monitoring the quality of work and to ensure team members are receiving proper training.
Essential Position Responsibilities:
Regular attendance is an essential function of this job
Ability to move material (up to 55 lbs.) and stage at machines and/or prepare for delivery
Ability to efficiently operate/run each piece of equipment on the production floor
Assist in prioritizing and scheduling workflow and personnel based on equipment capabilities and customer needs
Assist in executing production plan, adjusting for unexpected events (absenteeism, mechanical failures, rush orders, etc.)
Perform needed quality checks, inspections and minor mechanical adjustments to equipment when needed
Work with Production Supervisors to optimize production throughput and efficiencies measured by SLA?s
Assist in monitoring and enforcing company rules and policies
Responsible for all production form?s administration. (updates and revisions follow QA procedures)
Effectively communicate with team members, peers and other departments
Assist with all inbound return mail being proceed in a timely manner
Assist in tracking and reporting of all spoiled postage in a timely manner
Monitor and enforce company rules and policies
Prepare mail for delivery to USPS, Common Carriers or third-party mailers
Provide other related duties as assigned
