Indiana University Health Business Development Associate - Health Plans in Indianapolis, Indiana

Overview

Manages the quoting and proposal process for new and renewal commercial business. Uses data and market analysis to effectively convey the IU Health Plans value proposition within all broker communications. Acts as a liaison among all commercial stakeholders to advance multiple projects. Delivers timely competitive materials with consistent quality to further the growth of the commercial division.

Key Duties:

  • Daily support of sales function to produce quotes and submit sold cases

  • Monitor quoting timeframes and follow-up to ensure that quotes are completed and returned on time

  • Works hand in hand with Sales and Sales Support teams in developing prospects and responding to Brokers

  • Manage the collection and distribution of all new business paperwork according to the laws and policies and within established timeframes

  • Report on status of coordination activities to Sales Executives

• Requires Bachelors Degree in Business, Computer Science, Accounting, Economics or related field.

• Experience in healthcare analytics, health benefits, or related field preferred.

• Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office.
