Delta Faucet Company as an awesome Part-Time role for a Contract Coordinator in our Finance & Accounting Department!

The Contract Coordinator facilitates the management of the Masco Contract Management (MCM) system. This includes ensuring proper approvals/reviews of contracts. In addition, this role is responsible for the management of the Masco Contract Control Policy. This policy defines specific requirements for the Contract Control Review Process to ensure proper accounting treatment and legal disclosures to adhere with Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.

Delta processes approximately 700 contracts per year within all aspects of the business. These contracts require various levels of legal reviews and management approvals. This position is responsible for entering and retention of contracts in the MCM contract workflow system as well as obtaining proper approvals. This position requires a desire and aptitude for working in the MCM system. There are no direct reports for this position. This is a part-time role.

This position will require strong relationships with sales management, Delta finance teams, as well as Masco’s legal department.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Responsible to ensure that all contracts have been properly executed, reviewed and entered into the contract workflow system in a timely and responsive manner

  • Ensure a strong standard process for contracts that includes initiating contact with sales managers related to pending contracts

  • Liaison with Masco legal department related to pending contracts

  • Maintain database of completed, pending, and open contracts

  • Train all new employees on the Masco Contract Control Policy

  • Monthly and quarterly responsibilities related to maintaining an adequate system of internal controls

  • Oversee/facilitate the documentation of accounting treatment related to contracts

  • Participate in the sales and finance team’s annual review of key contracts under negotiation

Education and Experience:

4 year degree required. Prefer experience in an office environment with contract maintenance and administration. Accounting experience preferred but not required.
