Aerotek Logistics Coordinators/Clerks in Indianapolis, Indiana

Aerotek is immediately hiring a couple of Logistics Coordinators for a transportation company in Indianapolis.


These individuals will be in charge of inter-office responsibilities including:

  • Strength in data entry- Excel and order management system SAP

  • Answering telephones

  • Faxing, copying, and filing documents

  • Processing freight shipments

  • Entering billing information into Microsoft Excel

  • Navigating through internal database to locate tracking information

  • Email communication (scheduling deliveries, following up on shipments, setting up dispatchers)

  • Assist customers and other third parties with inquiries and problem resolution

  • Generate, file, and maintain up-to-date and accurate customer records, reports, shipment documentation, etc.

  • Provide tracking and tracing services for customer shipments

  • Provide support and backup for the delivery and turnovers.

  • Perform load-audits

Skills & Qualifications:


  • 1+ year of working Microsoft Office experience (high proficiency in Excel and Outlook email management required)

  • 2-5 years of professional work experience in logistics, manufacturing, or distribution industry, 1+ year of experience in a fast-paced work environment
