We are looking for a highly motivated and hard working candidate that is capable of setting up and operating a CNC Machining Center. Due to the size, cost, speed, sophistication, and/or complexity of the machinery; previous hands on experience is preferred. Set
up and operation includes, adjustment and/or replacement of expendable tooling, guides, jigs, and fixtures. This position will NOT require programming, this will consist of operating and setting up machines only.
Required Skills: To qualify for consideration, an applicant must possess the following skills. Possession of these skills is a prerequisite for employment.
Previous CNC Machining Center experience preferred (Vertical and/or Horizontal).
Operator must be capable of operating other equipment as required for the fabrication of various parts.
Responsible for producing quality parts in the most productive manner while following safe work practices.
Ability to operate the following plant equipment: forklift, hand cutting torch, pendant jib, gantry and overhead cranes.
Ability to use hand or powered hand tools.
Ability to add, subtract and multiply whole numbers, decimals and fractions. Convert decimals to fractions and vice versa.
Ability to use the following measuring tools: tape measure, steel rule, square.
Must be able to concentrate and maintain productivity in high pressure situations.
Must be able to work without close supervision.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Shift: Must be able to work 3rd Shift (9:45 PM - 6:15 AM, Sunday thru Thursday). Overtime will be required as needed.
