The Business Process & Architecture team develops and implements effective global strategies and tools to enable our sales organization through delivery of valuable insights, productivity enhancements, and transparent collaboration. We are responsible for the internal sales experience of Salesforce as a platform and the foundation to our Corporate Infrastructure at Salesforce.com

We are seeking a talented professional with demonstrated experience in integrating enterprise businesses following an acquisition. This strategic role is critical in the functional integration of acquired sales teams, pipeline management and revenue flow. A successful candidate will possess a balance of Salesforce.com administrative proficiency and Business experience with a specialization in sales employee perspective. This role will report to the Sr. Director of Business Architecture and become part of a high-performing organization squarely focused on the success of sales via ongoing improvement and design of the Salesforce Platform Ux. Manager of M&A Business Architecture’s primary responsibility will be as a key partner to IT and the Sales M&A strategy team in determining effective solutions for active acquisition initiatives. You will also participate in the deployment of new features delivered by the platform as well as participate in continual governance of our internal Salesforce deployment.

Salesforce.com is a fast-paced, rapidly scaling business, we are looking for someone who will hit the ground running to efficiently guide integration efforts for newly acquired businesses, ensure integration future state design and new end-to-end processes for the combined teams meet the strategic goals of the integration, ensure rep productivity, and create a great user experience that scales for the combined sales team.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Business teams, Process SMEs and IT admins to review & complete written requirements/change requests; help identify solutions to business needs

  • Business thinking and highly strategic in order to define practical solutions that align with corporate strategy

  • Effectively manage priorities, deliverables, and timelines without the need for escalation

  • Drive systems-related project execution in direct partnership with IT (system administrators and development scrum teams); measure and document business results achieved through solution implementation

  • Advocate and drive adoption of “best practices” to ensure standardization of business architecture outputs across the sales organization

  • Ongoing Improvement: Analyze core sales objects and identify areas of improvement utilizing config level change

  • Play a major role in strategy execution helping to clarify, communicate, and organize strategic activities.

  • Assist strategists and business leaders in providing tools, techniques, and facilitation to enable better strategy implementation.

Technology Delivery:

  • Ability to manage customer escalations (internally and externally) and negotiate resolution

  • Flawlessly execute consulting management activities, with high attention to detail, organization and process.

  • Genuine passion, interest, willingness and ability to adjust to continuously changing priorities and needs

  • Capability as credible and effective advisor/coach

  • Executive-level communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively navigate and mediate conflict and foster honest dialog

  • Familiarity with implementing and supporting enterprise solutions (CRM, ERP, etc.)

  • Deep Salesforce product knowledge and demonstrate the ability to quickly learn

  • Knowledge of process automation, user experience and workflow.

  • Consultative approach, including the ability to translate customer needs into user stories and prototypes.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • 3+ years experience in Sales or Solutions Engineering, M&A Sales Integration or similar

  • 3+ years enterprise level Salesforce admin/Meta-Data governance experience

  • Design thinking competent, Expert level problem solving and creative solutioning

  • A keen eye for user experience, mixed with an understanding and empathy for sales.

  • Salesforce Lightning platform feature/design proficiency

  • Consulting mindset

  • Motivated self-starter - can work independently

  • Engaging ability to drive and steer business conversations with multiple, diverse stakeholders

  • Team player, collaborative methods of engagement

  • Blend of administrative competency and business acumen

  • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • Understands and can build models when necessary but not fully dependent upon them for solutioning.

  • Storyteller, Can deliver detailed explanations in language that connects with stakeholders
