Medxcel Facilities Management Manager, Training in Indianapolis, Indiana

The Manager, Training develops and administers training programs with a focus on our field-based leaders and associates. Partners and collaborates with field leaders to assess and recommend training and development needs. Strategizes with Director Organizational Development, Learning and Training to align solutions with organization objectives and priorities. Leads a team to grow skills, abilities, and knowledge by driving training results through the creation of training tools and processes, facilitation of training sessions (virtually, in-person), coaching, providing feedback, and monitoring programs for effectiveness and consistency.

Oversees the identification of new training solutions and existing program enhancements by leveraging data to guide the development of project plans and proposals, leader and participant guides, presentations, job aids, quick reference tools, video-based learnings, e-learnings, scripts, gathering feedback, and determining any needed follow-up. Provides reporting to identify what is working and where there may be additional opportunities.

  • Identify and assess the training needs of the field through job analysis, career paths and consultation with managers/leaders

  • Develop individualized and group training programs that address specific business needs

  • Develop training solutions that target tangible results

  • Implement effective and purposeful training methods

  • Evaluate performance to ensure that training is meeting business needs and improving performance

  • Assess associates’ skills, performance and productivity to identify areas of improvement

  • Drive training and development activities to support objectives, priorities, and goals

  • Communicate effectively in writing and verbally

  • Partner with team and departments to provide and deliver complete training solutions

  • Manage the technologies and technical personnel required to develop, manage and deliver training

  • Keep abreast of training trends, developments and best practices

  • Support the implementation process of new sites


  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or related field required


  • 5 years experience in training – technical, leader development required

  • Experience in facilitation and implementation of processes and initiatives to manage, lead, develop and build individuals and teams required

  • Behavioral assessment (e.g. DISC, MBTI), coaching and training certifications preferred

  • Ability to lead with data, make sound business and people decisions

  • Knowledge of the levels of measurement and driving for results

  • Provide and receive feedback to advance team and organization

  • Proven ability to be a trusted business partner

  • Ability to adapt quickly to changes in scope or direction and flexibility to adjust approach

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to communicate and influence across all levels of the organization, including presentation and facilitation skills

  • Sound judgment and the ability to align and lead and execute on strategic objectives and priorities

  • Planning and organizing of priority work activities, using time efficiently, and developing realistic action plans

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Microsoft Teams, and Zoom

  • Experience with design platforms such as Canva, Vyond, Articulate, Adobe

  • Travel required: Up to 25% based on organization and department priorities
