Aerotek Operator Jobs Upto $16.50/hr + Overtime! in Indianapolis, Indiana

A leading

safety company that is looking to bring on additional Machine Operators for the

production facility. Their operators will work on 2 machines simultaneously and

their functions/duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Loading

earplugs into machine

  • Loading

cord into machine

  • Quality

checks on raw materials as well as finished products (1x per hour)

Operator troubleshooting - keeping your machine operational

In-process flow - keeping raw materials fed into machine and supplied

Overall,

candidate will be responsible for the upkeep of 2 machines at once that range

from 60 units/minute to 120+ units per minute. These machines attach plastic

cord to the foam earpiece (all automated) and spit on a fully packaged product.

The first machine that candidates are responsible for actually assembles the

cord and earbud into the finished product. The 2nd machine

packages the product individually for shipment. Candidates will have to

check once hourly the quality of the product including the packaging seal,

label legibility, cord attachment, etc. They will then record the results on a

document sheet. Location - 46268. 12 months contract to hire.

SHIFT -

3rds -

6:45 pm - 7:15 am

1st - 6:45

am - 7:15 pm where they have a 1/2 for lunch (unpaid), and three 15

minute paid breaks.

It will

be a swing shift - 2 on 2 off 3 on 3 off.

OT -

Candidates CAN pick up extra shifts, and work a good amount of OT, but they

MUST COMPLETE TRAINING FIRST. This typically takes 2-4 weeks.

MUST HAVE -

- Own vehicle for reliable

transportation, Willing to submit to a drug test and background check.

- High school diploma or

GED.

- 6 + months Experience with

Machine Operation, preferably a machine that individually packages product. no

jumpy profiles.

- Computer Skills - All

machines are run by touch screen HMI

- Need to understand that

the finished product is supposed to be a certain way, and have the ability to

check quality based on their acquired knowledge of the finished product.
