Job Role and Responsibilities:

  • We are looking for a Senior Manager of Business Analytics & Insights; to develop state of the art Analytics, and business intelligence capabilities to drive business optimization & transformation across the Products & Cloud Services Organization.

The Key responsibilities include the following:

  • Define & develop business analytics strategy to help enable Products & Cloud transformation strategies and improve operational efficiencies across organizations.

  • Solve gnarly business issues, drive real-time decision-making, champion impactful predictive modeling using business expertise, data understanding, and analytic experience.

  • Maintain a strong external focus within the data sciences and business intelligence/analytics space to keep current of industry leading practices and advances in the data analytics arena.

  • Effectively collaborate with IT, Finance, Master Data, & Business Transformation teams to drive enterprise-wide transformational projects

Required Skills:

  • 8+ years of progressively responsible experience building business analytics & data science solutions, leading a Team of Business Analysts/Data Scientists, ability to get into the details while appropriately communicating broader Business strategy

  • Proven ability to “Tell a Story” through data and communicate effectively with senior leadership; mastery of advanced visualization techniques with an ability to translate findings for a general business audience.

  • Deep knowledge of Data science, AI/ML concepts. Math modeling and analytical techniques in predictive techniques, classification techniques and segmentation highly desirable.

  • Ability to understand business requirements, KPIs and convert into analytical hypothesis in a structured and logical manner along with solution identification

  • Ability to handle multiple projects at a time, coordinate and work with multiple business units a from project management perspective

  • Proficient in R/Python, SQL with minimum 2-3 years of hands on experience. Strong conceptual understanding of machine learning algorithms including linear regression, logistic regression, decision tree, random forest, topic model etc

  • Working experience designing and implementing AI and ML solutions to solve complex business challenges desired for at least 3-5 years along with team management and client management responsibilities

  • Experience with large complex database systems & architecture, structured & unstructured data; with diverse analytics methodologies and approaches; expert ability to connect data/metrics to business metrics/results

  • Enjoys being the "trusted advisor" to the Business leveraging data, analytics/ML and story telling

  • Superb interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills. Ability to influence and persuade without formal authority

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field required. Master’s degree a plus

Preferred Skills:

  • At-least 4+ years’ Experience in a similar role Leading a Team, enabling data & analytics driven Business decisions

  • Prior experience working in Agile methodologies/JIRA would be a plus
