Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.
As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.

Analyzes business needs to help ensure Oracle solution meets the customer’s objectives by combining clinical data industry best practices, product knowledge, and business acumen. Exercises judgment and business acumen in selecting methods and techniques to deliver functional and technical solutions on non-routine and very complex aspects of applications and technology installations. Provides direction and mentoring to project teams, and effectively influences customer leadership on key decisions. Supports the business development efforts by pursuing new opportunities and extensions. Collaborates with the consulting sales team by providing domain expertise. Resolves complex customer issues by recommending and implementing solutions. Demonstrates expertise in multiple business processes across two or more product families or ability to architect and design technology solutions encompassing multiple products and make decisions based on impact across the stack.
8-10 years of experience relevant to this position including 4 years of consulting experience. Prior team leadership or management experience preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience preferred. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to build rapport with team members and clients. Strong influencing and negotiation skills. Ability to travel as needed. Strives in bring customers on-board
Strong Cloud Software background.
Cloud certifications a strong plus.
6 working in the clinical trials, healthcare, clinical data domain
6 years of business or related IT experience is required. Bachelor's degree in a business or related technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
Familiarity with the Oracle tech stack.
Intermediate experience with Oracle Database design and PL/SQL.
Exposure to big data technologies.
Strong experience on cloud deployed products.
Solid knowledge of Project Management tools such as Microsoft Project, Agile Jira, Confluence.
Apex and exadata experience is a strong plus.
Intermediate experience with SQL and SQL Tuning.
Strong analytical troubleshooting and performance evaluation skills.
Must be an effective team member with strong communications skills and the ability to follow-through, stay motivated, and collaborate with all team members.
