Aerotek Warehouse Assembler in Indianapolis, Indiana
At Schenker, there are different departments in the distribution center, and candidates need to be flexible to be switched around if needed. The positions can be picking/packing product, kitting or assembling packages to be sent to customers, doing inventory or quality control, or operating a forklift or reach truck if they have that previous experience.
These candidates will be working in the Dahua service center part of the warehouse. Their day will entail of light assembly of DVR's. They will insert hard-drives (plug-in) to the DVR and make sure they work before preparing for shipment.
They will have labels and work orders printed for them before their shift. They will be taking Dahua DVR's and building/assembling to the customers request. They need to be comfortable and enjoy working on computers. Once they assembly and insert hard drives they will be labeling serial numbers on the hard drive and labels on DVR box. They could be using a heat gun to remove the previous labels or a screw driver to remove or put in screws. They will be taught how to assemble and insert the hard drives, pretty simple and easy to learn.
They will not be operating a forklift but could be trained on forklift

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
MUST HAVE: 1. Warehouse or Distribution experience 2. Assembly experience (warehouse or manufacturing) 3. Comfortable and efficient on a computer 4. Detail-orientated 5. HSD/GED
Nice to Have: 1. Previous IT or computer experience (ideal candidate is someone from the Geek Squad) 2. Forklift experience
DISQUAL: Previous attendance issues (Check RFL)
This will be a M-F position, from 8:30am to 5pm. Occasional mandatory OT and could work 10 hour shifts or Saturdays. Will give at least a day notice on OT.
Pay: $16-$16.50/hr (depends on experience) *They will receive a .50 cent raise once brought on direct IF they started at $16/hr. *They will be eligible for yearly raises. They will be reviewed on their KPI's and receive a % increase based on how well they did)
