We need talent that understands, embraces, and enjoys the challenges associated with such growth.IS THIS YOU?Major Duties and ResponsibilitiesPromotes and maintains safe operations by adhering to and enforcing safety procedures and regulationsLeadershipPromotes housekeepingAssures all quality standards are metReviews production plans for performanceEnsures that proper documentation is completed: scrap reports, preproduction and housekeeping formsAssists operators with machine/quality issuesVerifies labor reporting, makes corrections as neededIdentifies improvements for increased productivity and works with team to accomplishEnforces company policies and procedures and disciplines as neededRun machines as neededCommunicates with other shifts by documenting and communicating actions and issuesRequired qualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be:Able to motivate employees, peers, superiorsKnowledgeable in the verification of parts produced with the use of varied measurement gauges which would allow for modifying offsets to meet customer engineering drawing specificationsPreferred knowledge in the use of HAAS controlsKnowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry to generate the correct finished dimensionsSkilled in monitoring performance of self and organization to make improvements or take corrective actionAble to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problemsAbilitiesA Strong LeaderGood listening, problem sensitivity, quick response reaction timeObserving, receiving, and otherwise obtaining and entering accurate information in BandB ERP systemAnalyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solving problemsCommunicates information professionally to othersMust follow all safety procedures and policies as mandated by BandB including but not restricted to wearing safety eye protection and equipment and enforcing adherence by othersAbility to stand for an entire shiftThe ability to meet strict deadlines or be able to communicate those that cannot be metQualificationsHigh school or equivalent (Required)Manufacturing: 4 years (Preferred)Benefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceDisability insuranceEmployee assistance programHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offRetirement planSchedule:10 hour shiftNight shiftCOVID-19 considerations:We follow all CDC guidelinesThis Job Is Ideal for Someone Who Is:Dependable -- more reliable than spontaneousAdaptable/flexible -- enjoys doing work that requires frequent shifts in directionDetail-oriented -- would rather focus on the details of work than the bigger picture
