Woodland Hills Care Center, a skilled nursing facility in Lawrenceburg, IN, wants to help recently displaced workers due to the recent global pandemic.
Personal Care Attendant- PCA, is a newly created position with a rapid hiring and training process.
Responsibilities and Duties
Woodland Hills Care Center is seeking compassionate PCAs who want to make a difference and support the be part of a support team who excels to succeed. Candidates will be prepared to complete the following tasks after training are included but not limited to:
Obtaining and recording temperatures
Single person transfers from bed to chair/wheelchair
Bed bath/partial bath
Obeservations to be reported to and how to properly report to Nurse/Manager on Duty
Assistance with Nutrition/Hydration
Observe and report any changes in resident's health status to the Charge Nurse on an ongoing basis.
Provide assistance with activities of daily living (i.e., bathing, dressing, oral hygiene, skin care) according to plan of care.
Report to supervisor at the beginning and end of each tour of duty.
Report to supervisor immediately when observing any unusual or significantly challenging behaviors
Qualifications and Skills
Must be 18 years old.
Successfully complete on-site training and orientation
Pass criminal background
