Aerotek Lab Technician (Flexible Pay) in New Albany, Indiana
• Ensure product & process conformance to quality standards, product specifications, and other requirements. • Verify adherence of materials to quality specifications & customer requirements • Perform finished product testing in accordance with work instructions and test methods and follow all work instructions and other procedures. • Make pass/fail decisions relative to product specifications • Assist Production and R&D with product performance issues • Utilize ERP system to enter inspection, calibration, and sample results • Conduct inspections of incoming raw materials • Develop lab blends for color matching, material work-off, and trial batches • Manage retained samples / ensure paperwork accuracy daily • Conduct and ensure calibration of laboratory and plant equipment • Utilize and maintain QC equipment and instrumentation (particle size analyzer, GC, Karl Fisher titrator, Brookfield rheometer, etc)

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelors in Biology or chemistry or four years of directly related experience in lieu of an Associate’s Degree. or Three years of paint or coatings laboratory related experience, preferably performing color matches & blends • Six months experience with SAP or and ERP system preferred
