COMPANY: Wabash Valley Service Company HIRING MANAGER: Roger Winter LOCATION: New Harmony, IN _ JOB SUMMARY:_ Assumes responsibility to create profitable sales of assigned products in the designated territory. Delivers and collects for products sold. Contacts customer and prospective customers by using acceptable sales techniques, developing and maintaining these accounts as customers. Maximize profitable sales of the assigned products and services with targeted accounts, while working in conjunction with all other Team Energy/LP marketing people in the territory to improve the profitability of patron’s enterprises with the use and recommendation of the assigned products and services, while maintaining key accountability for those products and services as described below. This position would also help out in the Refined Fuels Department determined by the Territory Manager. _ KEY PRODUCTS AND SERVICES_ LP Gas LP Gas Service LP Equipment _ RESPONSIBILITIES:_ 1. Identify target market accounts, key accounts and key prospects in the assigned territory. 2. Individually analyze these accounts as to their wants and needs in the LP area. 3. Develop a strategy for fulfilling each target accounts wants and needs with the assigned products. 4. Implement the strategies with the target market accounts in a manner that will result in profitable sales for the company and increased profitability for the account. 5. Assure that each account is adequately and efficiently serviced. 6. Assist in the training of location personnel to enable them to meet the needs of the customer. 7. Develop and conduct customer/prospect meetings pertinent to product lines. 8. Know present customers and their past purchasing history. 9. Compiles list of prospective customers and know their potential using TSP Target Lists 10. Maintains an ongoing target prospect list, and develops a daily plan for calling on prospects. 11. Maintains an ongoing information file on each prospect and customer. 12. Uses contact management system (CRM) and makes appointments for regular calls on customers and prospects. 13. Deliver and see that deliveries of products are made in a timely manner to insure customer satisfaction. 14. Stay currently informed on technical information and product changes, and follows all company guidelines. 15. Follow up on customer complaints and notify supervisor of complaint the same day. 16. Attempt to regain lost customers, and report lost customers to supervisor in a timely manner. 17. Display good judgment, positive attitude and enthusiasm in dealing with customers and other employees. 18. Wears required company uniforms, projecting a positive image of the company in personal appearance, equipment appearance and personal habits. 19. Subscribe to and support the company credit policy. 20. Develop business through new accounts utilizing company approved financing programs, which will require targeting those accounts. Writing applications and follow up and work with the credit manager to ensure applications are complete. 21. Must be willing to work beyond hours considered “normal”. 25.
