Category QualityOverviewThe Quality Engineering Specialist at Cook Medical supports, reviews, and analyzes quality system processes and works with an interdisciplinary team of engineers and specialties along with their department to advance the strategic goals of Quality Engineering.ResponsibilitiesInvestigate quality issuesMonitor and maintenance of processes critical to CMLLC Quality Management systemInternal and external quality assessmentsData trending and reportingMust be able to multi-taskIndependently produce and organize and maintain document or systems critical to the foundation of the departmentLead short term, long term, or system forward projectsParticipate as required in internal and external auditsOrganize and participate in quality projectsUnderstanding of regulatory requirementsQualificationsBachelor's degree in a technical field or experience of such kind and amount as to provide a comparable backgroundKnowledge of Cook quality systems, associated documentation and product linesKnowledge of medical device regulations, including pertinent standardsExperience in statistical and analytical reasoningComputer literacy and proficiencyCQA or like certification preferredQualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States.
