Our team members are part of a company with a heritage of leadership, a focus on shaping the future, and a mission dedicated to alleviating pain and improving the quality of life for people around the world.The Finance Manager, SEC Reporting is responsible for the preparation of external financial reports, performing US GAAP technical research and implementing new accounting standards.Principal Duties and ResponsibilitiesPrepare external financial statements including 10-Qs and 10-KsComplete US GAAP technical research on complex accounting transactions, focusing on business development agreements and business combinationsProvide corporate oversight and review on certain areas, including non-GAAP reporting and intangible assetsWork with external auditors on various technical mattersOther Ad hoc requests and assignmentsExpected Areas of CompetenceDemonstrates strong communication (oral and written) skills.In depth knowledge of US GAAP.Ability to explain complex accounting matters to non-financial business partners.Perform research of technical literature.Ability to work in a team-driven environment.Exhibits a high level of attention to details.Highly motivated, self-starter willing to deliver results and meet strict deadlines.Demonstrated characteristics of high potential for future development opportunities.Computer literate; intermediate to advanced Excel and Word required.Education/Experience RequirementsB.S. in accounting.
