Then come join our growing Team! Gibson’s Heating & Plumbing is currently seeking a professional, customer service oriented Installation Team Coordinator with a background in customer service. This key position uses creative thinking and strategic planning to maximize installation revenue by improving efficiency and managing our customer expectations to achieve the highest levels of customer satisfaction while achieving department success.

The Big Task

You will be the glue that holds the installation department together by supporting our 3 Comfort Advisors, 3-4 Installation Crews, and Installation Manager. By working closely with the Installation Manger, you will help the team complete jobs on time and under budget, helping achieve the company’s financial goals. You will manage the schedules of the entire Installation Team so they are on-time to their appointments and jobs.

Responsibilities

  • Professionally answer the phone in a polite, friendly manner

  • Know how to establish customer rapport to ensure highest levels of customer satisfaction

  • Respond to all incoming phone and email equipment sale leads

  • Convert equipment sale leads into booked estimate appointments for Comfort Advisors

  • Communicate with Comfort Advisors and Installation Crews after each appointment/job to input job summary information into our computer software

  • Constantly stay up-to-date on sold jobs and ensure equipment was ordered by the Warehouse to be prepared and to schedule jobs in a timely manner

  • Utilize problem-solving skills to make decisions and prioritize when scheduling

  • Responsible for knowing, applying, and ensuring Installation Crews have appropriate permits when needed

  • Assist in completing accurate and timely paperwork and ensuring all appropriate paperwork is filled out and submitted to you by the Comfort Advisors or Installation Crews

  • Working closely with Warehouse, Installers, and Comfort Advisors to maintain a smooth operation

  • Assisting Customer Service Representatives by answering phones and booking service calls when necessary

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Excellent Attendance Record!

  • Be detail oriented and a highly organized multi-tasker with good presentation skills and the ability to convey confident and decisive messages in a fast-paced and goal-driven environment.

  • High School degree or equivalent, Bachelor’s Degree in OLS, Hospitality, Communications, ore related field is preferred, but not required

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) with ability to learn quickly new software applications

  • Excellent problem-solving skills; able to work independently with little supervision

  • Exceptional communication skills with ability to multi-task and excel in a fast paced, and rapidly changing, environment.
